Skate Jam in 2009

Please know that in the last 2 years we have collected money to place lights in the skate park. I would like to know if anyone is in for this years skate Jam. This is a great way to remember my brother and never forget who he was – who he will always be.

Hi Allison,
I have asked one of the administrators to add me as helper because they will be changing rules that only people on friends list or people that are helpers can light candles...So when you come on please message me..I did not want Alex's website to be left without anybody lighting candles...So at least some of my friends and family can light candles for him...I hope you don't mind...Hope to hear from you soon...Sabina

"Christmas in Heaven"

I see the countless Christmas trees
around the world below
with tiny lights like heaven's stars
reflecting on the snow.

The sight is so spectacular,
please wipe away that tear
for I am spending Christmas
with Jesus Christ this year.

I hear the many Christmas songs
that people hold so dear
but the sounds of music can't compare
with the Christmas choir up here.

I have no words to tell you
of the joy their voices bring
for it is beyond description
to hear the angels sing.

I know how much you miss me,
I see the pain inside your heart
for I am spending Christmas
with Jesus Christ this year.
I can't tell you of the splendor
or the peace here in this place
Can you just imagine Christmas
with our Savior face to face?

I'll ask him to lift your spirit
as I tell him of your love
so then pray for one another
as you lift your eyes above.

Please let your hearts be joyful
and let your spirit sing
for I am spending Christmas in heaven
and I'm walking with the King.

up coming events

I would like to all that read this know that there will be a Skate Jam on May 31 @ Wethersfield skate park
also there will be a movie night at the wethersfield community center on March 28th from 5pm to 10:30pm
ALL the money collected will be placed in Alex Lubarsky Memorial Fund with NutMeg State FCU and donated for the Skate Park.
the 1st thing will the Lighting of the skate Park, 1st day to be lit the night of the Skate Jam!!!

If we only had more time...

If we only had more time, we would have never lost touch. Our sorrow will turn to anger, at ourselves for not being better friends and making sure to stay in touch, to continue knowing the amazing spirit that would be taken from us all much too soon...

Wish I could have been there.

Alex, you have no idea how bad i broke down in Texas. I was so excited to come home and have you pick me up from the airport. I wish i could have been there for you in your time in need seeing how you were always there for mine. If you need anything I know you will let me know somehow. I love you bro and you will always be in my heart. We will catch up soon enough lub, soon enough.

Alex, took Evan to see you today. He came to work with me, and we stopped. He cried all the way home, and we laughed a lot too. He misses you everyday Buddy.. we will never forget you, and Evan never will.. I know. You really touched him. Rest in peace.
